FACTORY MANAGER'S SUCCESS. At the annual meeting of the Lcpperton Dairy Factory Company, Ltd., the I chairman, in referring to tile excellent work done by the manager (Mr W. Roberts) stated that the average grade in their butter in 1010-hl was !>!).33, being first on the list; in 1010-11 it was second with 04.007; and in T9ll-12 it was first with 94.28; in 1912-13 it was again first with 04.42; and in <101:1-14 it was second with 1)4.02, only just being beaten 'for Jii'st place by Stratford. Another proof of the excellence of the manager's work was evipced by the many prizes gained at shows;— First for pat*'butter at Hawera; second for export butter at the Agricultural Show; 2nd for export butter at the Stratford Show; tied for first in the export class at the Auckland Exhibition: 2nd place at the Dunedin Winter Show, average grade of the whole. Dominion; tied for first at the Waikato Winter -Show in the export class; second and third place for export butter at the (New Plymouth Show; tied for third place at Palmerston: two second and one third at Hawera Winter Show, and only one show at which the 'manager exhibited butter did he fail to win. a prize. That, said the chairman, was a record 'the manager could be justly proud of, and the suppliers had very good reason to be proud of their manaIgor. (Loud applause).
