' Wellington, last Night The railway .revenue for the four weeks ended July 18 was £294,012, made up of £158,156 from the North Island, and £135,856 fnom the South Island. The ex-penditure- in the same period totalled £228,039, the North Island absorbing £123,871 and the •South £104,168. Tic' total receipts to date sdnce April 1 arj: £1,270,358 and expenditure £899,388, or 70.80 per cent. The totals for the corresponding -period last year (April-Julv) £859,453, the per centage ibeing 69.98. .
