HXTIRANGI. (From' Our Own Correspondent.) A euchre party was held in the Huiirangi Hall on August sth, fourteen tables being occupied. The ladies' prize (cruet) was won 'by Miss- A Smith; 2nd, Mrs B. Wilson (salad jbowl). Gents, first, Mr P. Sole, (case of military hair brushes) 2nd, Mr W. Tuson (shaving outfit). After supper dancing was indulged in till 1 p.m. Miss Carr provided the music, and Mr F. Smith acted as M.C. Huirangi is sending one volunteer abroad with the contingent, Mr Herman Honnor being one of the first to offer his seivices.
