TREATIES TORN UP
A NATION WITHOUT HONOR. GERMAN TROOPS ENTER SWITZERLAND. AND CROSS FRENCH FRONTIER. I London, August 5. At three this morning it was reported tliat the Belgians had repulsed the Germans at Liege. The Germans have entered Switzerland, violating the treaty, and'crossed the French frontier near St. Marcel. Paris, August 5. M. I'oincare, French President, in a message to the people, declares that France has been tfhe object of brutal and premeditated aggression, which is an insolent challenge to ihe rights of humanity. He adds: "Before war was declared, before the German Ambassador had demanded his passports. French territory had been violated."
