The Germans have entered Switzerland, violating the treaty, and'crossed the French frontier near St. Marcel. Paris, August 5. M. I'oincare, French President, in a message to the people, declares that France has been tfhe object of brutal and premeditated aggression, which is an insolent challenge to ihe rights of humanity. He adds: "Before war was declared, before the German Ambassador had demanded his passports. French territory had been violated."
