MR. JENNINGS' PETITION.

REFERRED BACK TO THE COMMITTEE. By Telegnaph.—Press Association. Wellington Last Night. The A to L Petitions Committee brought up its report on the petition of Mr., W. T. .Jennings, praying for reimbursement of the expense which he had been put to in contesting his right to sit as a member of the Waitara Harbor Board. The committee had no recommendation to make. During the discussion the whole of the circumstances of the ease were closely reviewed, after which the report was referred back to the committee.
