CHARGE OF FORGERY.

WELL-KNOWN NEW PLYMOUTH INSURANCE AGENT. ARRESTED AT WANCiANUI. The New Plymouth police reported last night that William Forbes, wellknown for some years in New Plymouth and Taranaki as an agent for the A.M.P. Society, and a candidate for Taranaki at the last general election, had been arrested in Wanganui yesterday on a charge of forgery. The warrant was issued in Wellington.
