The public attendance was not so large as usual, owing no doubt to the big football match at Eltham. The cows had been feeding on turnips and looked somewhat slack. Competition was dull, although there were a good number of buyers present, no less than 10 operating. HAZELTON'S DISPERSAL SALE. On Monday, 20th inst., we held a f very successlul clearing sale on Mr Archibald Hazel ton's farm, Opimaka road, Stratford, when Were was a very large attendance of the public from ail parts of the district, competition being keen for both sundries and stock. The dairy cows showed very good judgment in selection, although some were showing age and there were a few 8-teatera, and the stock had also been weil looked after. Competition was particularly keen for some of the well bred' cattle, and after th esale, Mr Hazelton expressed satisfaction with bli.j results and the way ilit; sale was conducted.
