Christchureh, Last Nighty At ,i meeting of the New Zealand Cricket Council last night the management committee announced that they had decided to retire from office, and would 7iot seek re-election at the next annual meeting of the Council. The secretary and treasurer also announced that they were resigning. A motion was proposed that no action of the delegates in the past could be construed to be in the nature of a want of confidence ii the management committee, and that the committee he requested to reconsider the question of their resignation in a body. The motion, however, was ruled out of order, and the intention of the committee and officers to resign therefore stands.
