- MUST BE STRENGTHENED. By CaJble—Press Association.—Copyrig'.t Received 23, 10.30 p.m, London, July -23. Air. Felix Schuster, addressing a meeting of the Union London. Bank, emphasised the need for strengthening the country's gold reserves. He stated that it was imperative. The Bank of Germany had increased its gold reserve in the past year l>y eleven millions, and the Bank of France by thirty millions, and Russia by eighteen millions.
