bi/u'k <>!•' nnuiixfis destroyed. Otaki, July 22. At about 10.30 on Tuesday evening Mr. Arthur Devonshire noticed the glare of a tire in a shop occupied by Mr. Fred. Barrett, bootmaker, and quickly fave the alarm. The outbreak had a firm hold, and as the town boasts of no water supply, the block of buildings wa* left to the mercy of the flames.
