BIG STRIKE IN RUSSIA.
POLICE AND STRIKERS IX CONFLICT By Cable—Press • Association—Copyright Received 21, 10.55 p.m. St. Petersburg, July 21. A hundred and forty thousand struck owing to the authorities suppressing demonstrations in sympathy with the Baku strikers. Collisions occurred between the police and strikers at Putiloff works and elsewhere. Similar demonstrations occurred at Moscow and elsewhere. It is believed that a general strike is imminent.
