Tin 1 ; lmrr.DKRK' dispute. By Telegraph.—Press Association. 'Wellington, Last 'Night. A sitting of the Conciliation Council in the bnliders' laborers' dispute was held this morning. The men are asking for a reduction of the, weekly houro of work from 43 to 41, and demand an increased rate of pay from tlie existing Is 2d to Is 4d an hour. They request further that the new award shall operate within a radius of .25 miles of Wellington. The employers offered Is 2d an hour for laborers and Is !><l an hour for scad'oldcin'. An agreement was arrived at on all points excepting wages and preference.
