Shaw, the r of the Senghenydi] mine, where a disaster recently occurred, was charged with neglect in connection with safety lamps and i:i other respects. He was fined £24 and 20 guineas cost? for breaches of tile mine regulations. The charges again-l the company wore dismissed.
