FIRES.

IN NEWSPAPER OFFICE. By Telegraph.—Press Association. Wellington, Last Night. A small outbreak of five was discovered in the factor}' portion of the Times buildings this afternooti, and was suppressed before any serious damage was done. Some woodwork on the wall and side of the lift well was charred, also some paper. Otherwise very little damage resulted. The only apparent cause was an electric wire, the casing of which was charred, and possibly communicated the fire to some paper near by. Insurances are not ascertainable. Tf your property is not insured, call at or ring up the United Insurance Company, Ltd., Currie street; telepone i 190. J. C. Spedding, district agent. Insurances effected on the most favorable terms.—Advt.
