Wheat—The downward tendency continues owing to the excellence of the American winter crop and despite unfavorable Continental reports. The English conditions favor a good early harvest. Australian cargoes are quieter owing to sellers holding. Australian, spot, nominally 37s «d. Flour—Little business is doing; spot B4s 9d to 25s 6d; Bellers are holding firmly. Oats—Quiet; 21s is asked and 20b offered for A Cartons, July shipment. , Beans—Little business doing; a New Zealand July shipment is worth about 33s e.i.f. Peas—Firm; 52s e.i.f. was paid for first New Zealand maples on passage to Avonmouth. ■Butter —Firmer; Danish 128s fid. There is a better enquiry for colonial. Australian, choicest salted, ddOs and Borne at 112s, fine 106s to 108, choicest unsalted ; l'l2s and some at l'l4s, fine 108s to 110s. New Zealand, unsalted, 114s to 118s. Cheese—White 65s to 65s 6d. colored 68s to 645.
