A GIRL MURDERED.
" NO LOVERS—NO ENEMIES." :ty Cable—Press Association—Copyright Sydney, July 16. At the inquest on Gertie McAlister, her father gave evidence that his daughter had no lovers and no enemies. Mr. Mcßean stated that be saw deceased alive at 6.30. At 8.30 he heard two gunshots and rushed into the kitchen. He found the girl lying on the floor lifeless. The doctor's opinion was that the shots were fired from behind her back. It was impossible for them to have been self-inflicted. He believed the girl had been murdered. There are no clues. The inquest has been adjourned. TIIK MURDERER LEAVES A CLUU. Received 16. 10.35 p.m. Sydney, July IS. Tn connection with the Yass tragedy, a piece of paper has been found near the body whereon were written the words: "No one in this hcuse is to blame. The ::irl deceived me." The police anticipate an early arrest
