(Prom Our Own Correspondent.) Inglewood, Friday. The Druids held thci r monthly dance in the Druids Hall last evening, when there was a very good attendance. The pight was an ideal one for dancing, and everyone enjoyed themselves thoroughly. These dances are very popular with both town and country people. Tlie second round of' the cribbage tournament took place in the Druids' Hall, when Bowlers defeated Pirates by five games, and Egmont Village defeated Fire Brigade by one game, Tho positions of the varic-us teams are now: Bowlers two wins, Egmont Village two, Fire Brigade one, Pirates one, Druids one. Tlie new.crusher ordered by the Borough Council awivjed at Inglewood today, and is now being fitted up ready for work when the dry weather sets in. Mj-. R. Painter, who was burnt in the rt«:ent fire, has again .started business, having bought out Mr. H. Humphrey's | business in Matai street. I hear ok good authority that Mr. Bob Pyrie has disposed of his Outfield street property at a very substantial figure. Mr. H, Humphrey, Who on Wednesday disposed of his business, to Mr. Painter, las also disposed, of fcis lousehold effects, f.nd leaves Inglewood for pastures new on Saturday. -Mr. Otto Boldt returned to Inglewuod to-day from his trip to Auckland, ami looks touch b"nelisted thereby..
