SOME PROPOSED CHANGES. Captain. Stevens has returned from the conference of officers in Wellington, and states that a scheme for the re-organisation of the scheme of training on lines suggested by Sir Tan Hamilton has been drawn up. It proposes to make the organisation rather geographical than regimental. The headquarters of the 11th Ecgiment will be removed from llawera to New Plymouth, and Captain McDonnell will be in command, with a quarter-master-ser-geant and sergeant-major.
