NEW PLYMOUTH WOOL, SKIN, HTM AND TALLOW SALE. ' L. A. NOLAN'S REPORT. . We lield our four-weekly Bale of the , above on July 2nd, in our Oill Btreet warehouse, and submitted our usual catalogue to competition that was particularly keen right through. ; Hides.—These were easier in some lines. This tendency was particularly noticeable in ordinary lines of ox which declined fully %d. Np stout ox wer<> offered. Heavy weight cows were easier to %d, while light and medium weights sold at late rates. Sheepskins sold at late rates, competition being equally keen for dry, damp and salted lines. Wool.—We offered very little. Crutcii, ings should be showing up, but were not in evidence. , Tallow.—ln sympathy with the London market, prices have dropped persistently the last two sales. We hope to record a pleasing increase in the entry of fanners' lots of tins of tallow. It does not seem to be realised by the farming community that there is always a sale for their waste fat.
