At the sheep Bales, on account of J. ■ Douthwaite, a Border Leicester ram /etched 37 guineas, and others from 31 to #8 guineas; ten averaged £2O 3s 3d. A Border I>>icester stud awe fetched 20 guineas; five averaged £ls lis 6d. On account of Ensor (Kangiora), two Corriedale stud rams fetched forty guineas each, and nine averaged £2l "><; ,»od. On account of J. Grant (Timaru) three Romney Marsh stud ewes averaged €lB 18s. Heavy drafts of Lincoln, English. Leicester and Border Leicester ewes, ewe and nun lambs on behalf of New Zealand breeders langed from two to 7'/ 2 guineas. Received 9, 1 a.m. On account of John Stringfellow TChertsevl one Corriedale stud ram fetched "20 guineas; two others 17'/ 2 -guineas each; thirteen averaged £9 7s.
