WEDDING BELLS.
HUMPHRIES—BUEGIKsiS. St. Barnabas' Church, Opunake, was tastefully decorated last Wednesday morning, the occasion of the marriage of Mr. Jolm Humphries, youngest son of Mi - , and Mn. Humphries (Naawu) to Miss Ada Burgess, daughter of Mr. and Mm liurgv-is (Toko). The wedding party were announced by choral welcome, the bride looking exceedingly nice in a navy blue costume with mihite facings, and carrying a white bound bible with white streamers. Mr. \V, McNeill gave the bride away and Mitti May Humphries (niece of the bridegroom) as bridesmaid, was nicely dressed in a red costume with white facings. The bridegroom was attended by Mr. Andrew Aitken as best num. The lle%'. O. M. Stent tied the nuptial toot and the .service was fully choral. The usual well-wishing in rice showers were bestowed upon the coupto when tliey left the church.
After the wedding ceretaony a largo number of friends adjourned to the residence of the bridegroom's parents and partook of tlitf Siberal hospitality provided. Many valuable presents were received. The happy couple left by motor-car far their honeymoon
