N,EW SOUTH WALES EXPORTS. By Cable—Press Association—Copyright Sydney, July 1. The export season for meat and butter closed yesterday. The exports showed marked increases. The total amount of beef exported was 136,663 quarters, an increase of 89,118 quarters. The mutton exported was 1,605,674 carcases, an increase of 518,127 carcases. The improvement was due to the increased demand in America and England resulting in higher prices. Generally speaking, prospects are brighter than ever before. Not only has the quality improved, but the two largest markets in the world are open to Australian products. The 'butter exports totalled 410,378 boxes, an increase of 50,868.
