SHEEP-BREEDERS' SHOW.

A feature of the slicep-breeders' annual show is tin: predominance of British breeds, which are supplying 312 out of 503 entries. New Zealand is well represented in the longwool sections, but is hardly so successful as in previous exhibitions.
In Romney Marshes. Mr. ,1. A. Murdoch, of Ove'shiels. took first and champion and second for ram under twelve months; also first prize for a pen of three rams of the same age.
Mr. Donald Grant, of Timaru, took second prizes for rams over two years and under two years, and Mr. Joseph Dowthwaite third for ewe under twelve months.
In Border Leieesters Mr. Grant was second and Mr. Dowthwaite third, witli ram over two years. Mr. Grant third with ram over" two years, and Mr. Dowthwaite first and second. Mr. Grant took third prize for ram under 12 months and Mr. Dowthwaite second. Mr. Grant was third for ewes over two years, Mr. Dowthwaite second, anil Mr. Grant third for ewe under twelve months. Mr. Dowthwaite secured first prize and Mr. Grant second for a pen of three rams under 1:1 months, and Mr. Dowthwaite second and Mr. John Nixon, of Killinehv. third for a pen of three ewes. Afr. Brlinskill. «f Wag!ia. and Mr. Yelland, of Victoria, secured the bulk of the championship in these classes. In Corridab-. Mr. C. Ensore. of Rangiora was second for ram under two vea'rs. and lir-t ami second for ewe under two-year*.
