After one of the bitterest political fights in the Ontario elections; herculean efforts on the part of the Liberal Opposition to reduce the Conservative majority failed. The new Parliament is composed of S3 Conservatives, '26 Liberals and 2 Independents. The Liberals gained 13, the Conservatives nine, and the Independents one. The abolition of the bar was the main, feature in the fight.
