A RECORD YEAR. The paat season has ibeen a record one for the West Coast Rcfrigeratin" Co., (says-the Patea Press). list yea? the cheese and butter passing through its hands was valued at £724,775, which easily constituted a record. This year it has increased by £22,483, the various amount being made up as follows: 1913. Cheese 604,272 Buttcr • 70,543 Total 734,775 19M. Cheese 733,412 Mutter ei,848 Total 757,258 It will thus be seen that the value of the cheese increased by about £71,140, which is accounted for by the fact that several factories that previously made ■butter wont in for cheese making during the season just past.
