RETURN OF TUB TUTANEKAI.

Auckland, June 27, The Tutanekai returned this morning from lier Island cruise. At Tonga Mie visitors were entertained at a garden party at Br Izard's residence, and dined at the British Residency, where the King ai Tonga was one of the guests. The people of the Island! entertained the visitors with lavish hospitality. The .Prime Minister of Tonga entertained a large party on an historical battlefield near Naikunuku, the dinner 'being served in native fashion to the guests, all sitting on mats and dispensing with plates, forks, etc. The guests were subsequently entertained by New Zealandera at Nukualofa. The natives gave several (beautiful dances.

On the return journey tihe Tutanekai called at Sunday Island. It was intended to remove the eettlerg there to New Zealand,, but as their goods were not ready for shipment the steamer continued the voyage. The Tutanekai will now join the search for the launch oiissing from the Bay of Islands, and will call for the Sunday Islanders before she again .returns to the Dominion, btring the last few days the Tutandkai encountered very stormy weather.
