The Speaker, Mr. Clark, told a deputation of the National Women's Suffrage Association that suffrage was as inevitable as the vising of the sun. For thousands of years men had been trying to run the world. Some thoguht they had made a mess of it, and lie hoped that when the women came to run it they would improve it.'
