Lord Brassey landed and strolled in the vicinity of the shipyards, unaware of the prohibitive i epilations. He was arrested, though lie is well known in Kiel. The Kaiser personally inquired into the affair. Lord Rrassey assured liim that lie had been courteously treated. Received 2S. 5.5 p.m.
Berlin. June *2S. Lord Brassey declared that he was-not arrested, but was treated courteously, being detained for a few minutes, as tbe mutual explanations were unintelligible. He afterwards dined with the Kaiser.
