diminished by 200.000 annually. There were 13,169 fewer marriages celebrated in ISI3, while divorces increased by 500, totalling 15,07<i.

The decline in the birth-rate, coinciding with industrial expansion, has led to a serious dearth of labor. The Bill introduced into Parliament imposing a tax on all foreign labor is unlikely to pass, because this labor is an alwolute economic necessity.
