The abdication of King Peter is dehied. The King has temporarily delegated his authority to the Crown Prince during a prolonged stay at a health resort.

London, June 24. Router's Belgrade correspondent states that King Peter has abdicated in favor of Prince Alexander, on the ground of continued ill-health. King Peter succeeded to the throne in 1903, after the murder of King Alexander and Queen Draga by army officers. The British Government marked its disapproval of the crime by withdrawing its Minister, and diplomatic relations were not renewed till 1906. His son, Prince Alexander, is 20 years of »ge.
