On Friday, 12th inst. ,at my Kftponga yards there was a fair yardang witlh a good attendance. Competition was best for good conditioned cows and yearlings, the whole of the yarding selling as follows:—Fat wto, good, £0 19a to i 7 10s; forward cows, £5 15s, £3 10s, £5 (is, £5 2s, £5 £4 19b, £4 lto, £4 13 s, £4 10s; good 6'tora cow?, £3 lis to £4 4s; lifter framed cows, fc' 16s to £3 <is; aged eows, £1 8s to £2 ss; empty colored heifers £3 5s to £3 12s; weaner hefires £1 14b to £1 17b 6d; small £1; mixed weaners £3s 5a to £3 12s; weaner heifers £1 14s small bulls, it 12s 6d to £4 2s; lambs, small, 12s Bd. At Urenui on Monday, 15th inst., there was a fair entry of cattle, and several pens of sheep, most of which were cleared during the day. A fine pen of yearling Holstein steers, exceptionally well done realised £3 10s, and the heifers from the same vendor £2 U!s 6d, other weaner steers £1 17b 6d to £2 10b weaners heifers £1 lis 6d to £2, springing heifers £5 5b to £5 17b 6(1, cows and calves £5 2s 6d, empty heifers £3 ' 3s, for Shorthorns to £3 15s, for color- ' ed fat cows £6 16s to £6 19s, smaller cows £5 14s 6d to £45 6s fid, forward cows £4 14b t« £5 10s, store cows j £3 5s to £4 Bb, dairy cows £4 to £7 * 15s, aged cows £1 18s, fat and forward ■ ballocks £8 10s to £'9 15s, 2-year steers ',from £3 14s fid, for fair stuff to £4 Mis, j for exceptionally good and forward | wethers £1 2s 6d, mixed aged ewes in lamb £1 Is.
On Tuesday, ltitK inst, at my Rahotu yards, there was a full yarding mostly comprised of young cattle, of which, although these catle were rough and upon the small side, there was a .keen demand, practically everything yarded being cleared at the hammer at the following satisfactory prices:— Weaner heifers, best, £1 13» Gd to £1) d9s, smaller

At Waiwakaiho on Friday, the lDth inst, there was a full yarding of cattle of all classes with a good attendance of buveJs. Any good pens of weaners elicited brisk competition, the smaller stuff being rather hard of sale. Forward, cows sold very readily and any steers offered changed hands at the hammer. The dairy herd advertised on account of the executors of Josep'h Terrill's estate, at-, tracted much attention, and realised for early calvers from £O. 10s to £9 10s, later calvers £4 10s to £7 ss, empty cows £4 8s to £5 18s.
