(Mr. Redmond's American appeal accuses the British aristocracy and the Irish minority of an audacious attempt to put down Irish liberty. The Orange movement is financed l)y their wealthy and aristocratic enemies and patronised by the leading generals in the Army, and is further accompanied by a partially ' effective campaign to produce a feeling in the Army that this rebellious body could count on the Army's refusal to maintain the law.
Customs officers searched a Belgian steamer at Belfast, and found two rifles concealed in each of the four hundred bales of flax.

Mr. Eedmond has appealed to the United Irish League of America lor funds to strengthen the- .National volunteers so as to enable them to confront the minority in its forcible attempt to suppress the liberties of the Irish people.
A SURPRISE MUSTER.

A surprise muster at Leitrim of the National volunteers. resulted in three thousand from all parts of the county concentrating at Fenagh, a lonely and mountainous spot.
