A woman entered a gunsmith's shop and excitedly asked for a fully-loaded revolver, alleging that she was afraid of burglars. The gunsmith's wife sold her a weapon loaded with blank cartridges. The purchaser went straight to the house of her lover, who had deserted her, and fired two shots. She was surprised when he -was not hurt, and the [pair became reconciled.
