The Railwaymen's Conference, at Swansea, approved the alliance between the miners and transport workers. ■Mr. Thomas, M.P., said tlte alliance contained vast possibilities. There were grave dangers ahead unless its [powers were used wisely. The alliance must not De placed at everybody's beck and call, 'but used only as a last resort. It was a warning to employers.
