ACQUITTED OF MANSLAUGHTER,

By Telegraph—Press Association. ( Nelson, Last Night. The Supreme Court session opened today before Mr. Justice Hosking, who was welcomed to the bar. The only criminal case was a charge of manslaughter against Robert Wallace, farmer, of Springrove, by causing the death of Tom Newth on April 13, 1914, by driving a vehicle on the public road at Springrove at night without a light visible' to am' person approaching. The accused was acquitted.
