'London, June IG.

Archdeacon Boyce, of Sydney, in a letter on behalf of Australian women, repudiates militancy. He states that Australians disapprove of the methods employed and express regret, disgust and severe condemnation. The Duchess of Montrose recommends the deportation of militants to St. Helena.

The militants are boycotting churches, newspapers, West End tradesmen and religious and philanthropic institutions who refuse to advertise in the suffragette paper. Churches are organising volunteer patrols to guard against the suffragettes. FOR SAFETY'S SAKE.

and Sydney Sun Services. London, June 10.

In the House of Commons, Mr. Cowan urged the desirability, in consequence of outrages in the Abbey of removing the Coronation stone to Scotland for safer custody. Mr. Asquith feared that he could not accede, to the suggestion. Mr. Hogg (Londonderry) mentioned that he thought it would lie a graceful act to return the stone to Ireland.

Mr. Cowan pointed out that a strong feeling existed in Scotland. Mr. Asquith said that the Kings of England had been crowned in thiß chair for something like five hundred years.
