AS A SCHOOL SUBJECT. Received 10, 8.50 p.m. Melbourne, June 10. The Minister of Education has decided to introduce boxing in the regular curriculum in State schools.
WELLINGTON'S CHAMPIONSHIP TEAM.

The Wellington Boxing Association management committee to-night nominated Mr A. Hamilton as referee, and Messrs J. E. Staples and H. JD. Smith as judges for the Dominion championships at Wanganui next month.
The following team was selected to represent Wellington: Bantam, B. Andrews; feather-weight, J.W. OKivier; light-weight, J. Smith- welter, Hunter: middle-weight, B. Finnie; heavy-wciglht, S. Gerald. The committee decided to call on W. J. Macfarlane to explain the statements published bv hito as to his treatment by the Boxing Association in conl nectlori with the Hegarty-O'Grady meeting.
