DOMWI6N»S DRAUGHTS IN AUS-
TRALIA.
By Tcl-grapn—Press Association. Hastings, Last Night. Cable advice has been received that Mrs. J. D. Ormond's heavy draught colt, Glenven, by Rutherglcn—Liz, which iras withdrawn from the hut Melbourne sales owing" to having met with an accident, has been sold to a leading Queensland draught horse breeder for 350 guineas. The three entries from the Karamu stud, which have been disposed of in the Commonwealth, realised an aggregate of 1460 * gtaeas, a fairly good indication that in Australia, at any rate, a chance to secure the old-fashioned heavy type is still highly appreciated.
