UNMUSICAL SONGSTER.

FIKED FOR BEING OUT OP TUNE.

Times and Sydney Sun Services. London, June 14.

The village blacksmith at Tunstall was prosecuted for the unmelodiousness of his voice.

Evidence was given that he sang out of tune in church, very loudly, and continued singing after the congregation had ceased.

The minister stated that defendant's singing so disturbed the congregation that many had left, while others stopped their ears.

Defendant declared that lie was singing the tonor part in the Psalms, when he was asked to stop making a noise. The Bench fined the blacksmith £l, and added that the congregation ought to pay the fine.
