The public generally demands the repatriation of the Greeks, the stoppage of persecution, and the payment of an Indemnity.

The cruiser Hclli, purchased from America, has left for Greece.

Constantinople, June 14. Attempts are heing made to obtain the dismissal of by foreign firms in Smyrna. The Greeks at the Baliakaraidin mines have already been ■dismissed.

Owing to a United States representation a respite has been granted in the <*se of American firms, to enable them to make other arrangements.

ANNEXATION OF TERRITORY.

Athens, June 15. A decree annexes Chios and Mytelene on the ground that the Powers' conditions regarding the cession of Sassen to Albania, and the evacuation of Epirus nave been fulfilled.
