Olieese—The market is) fiirnn. with good demand. Canadian old make, per cwt, 08s to 70s; now make, good demand, white 02s to 635, colored G2s to 04s. New Zealand firmer witlh good demand, white 64s to 05s, colored «5a to 665. j Hemp.—The Manila market is very depressed, especially for spot and near positions. Fair current par ton £25 10<t, August-October Shipments £26. The •output from Manila for the week was IT,OOO bales. The New Zealand market is dull, vifch very little business doing at about quotations already given. _ Hops.—The market is steady, with improved demand. Cocksfoot.—No demand for New Zealand cooksfoot for forward shipment. The price asked is imueflt higher ffhan buyers are prepared to nay. They prefer Danish, which can be obtained at 55s e.i.f,, London, good purity and growth guaranteed.
