At flic Beekenlia-m tournament, in the finals, Kingscote defeated Crisi>. 7 —5, Z—6, 3—6, o—2, (i—2. Wilding and Brookes defeated Gove and Roper Barrett, o—2. <i—l. The Australasians' uhssing shots gave Barrett no chance to show 'his brilliancy at the nets. Brooklet (backhand was exceptionally good, and Wilding drove -wit'li great power.
