The proceedings were private. FIRE IX A TENEMENT HOUSE. New York, June 10. In a tenement fire at New York seven persons were killed,- including four women, and a score were injured. The fire started in a locker-room under the stairs and swept through the old-fash-ioned tenement with such rapidity that the tenants were unable to escape. A woman and lier son 'both leaped into the street and were killed instantly.
