At the conference held last night between a committee of the Employers' Association, representing the industries affected by importations, and a similar committee representing the the statement was made that New Zealand was, per head, the richest country- in the world, yet she was not as prosperous, as far as industries were concerned, as other countries. It was decided to invite the co-operation K ol the Industrial Association of New Zealand to establish a Dominion trade-mark or stamp on Now Zealand-made goods.
