POSTAL EMPLOYEES.
CONDITIONS IN BRITAIN. By Cable—Press Association —Copyright Received 11, 11.50 p.m. London, June 11. On the motion to reduce the postal vote, the House of Commons discussed the Commission's recommendations. Mr. Hobhouse, in reply, said it was impossible for the Government to disregard the chorus of criticism-, and he announced that he would appoint an(idler outside body to enquire into the whole question of the relation: of the Slate to its employees regarding remuneration and conditions of labor. The motion was negatived by 275 to '221.
