MINERS UNDERPAID.
Times and Sydney Sun Services, London, June 9.
At a conference of Jewish ministers from all parts of the United Kingdom the president, Rabbi Green, of the Hampstead Synagogue, declared that the sufferings and privations of miners had reached a point which ought to appeal to the conscience of their brethren. They had a right to expect at least a living wage, but a fearfully large proportion of them did not receive this.
