The London Missionary Society, in view of reduced income, has decided to curtail its expenditure by £OSOO a year, and is negotiating to transfer portion of its field work to other agencies.
ALLEGED BANKNOTE FORGERIES.
Received 10, 8.40 p.m. Sydney, June 10.
Guttsdic, arrested on a charge of forging bank-notes, pleaded not guilty and was committed for trial.
