On Tuesday, the 2nd inst., I held my usual four-weekly sale of above produce, the catalogue comprising 4 bales and 40 sacks of wool, 1829 sheepskins, 7 casks, 1 drum and 57 tins tallow, 015 hides, and H'l calfskins, with the usual assortment of hair, tails, etc. There was a fair attendance of buyers, but competition was a little quieter. Wool.—Very little now offering. Firm at late rates. Sheepskins.—Prices slightly easier, the skins not being up to the usual quality offering. Hides.—These showed a further decline of about '/id all round. . Tallow.—ln sympathy with the decline in other centres, prices were lower up to 30s per ton.
