I HAWERA. Th'c actual work of receiving entries for the slh'ow lias commenced, and no doubt the secretary and his staff will be kept busy from now until closing date attending to correspondence from intending exhibitors in machinery, miscellaneous ware!*, and the general sections. The large show building will in a. few days be a scene of activity, pr,e. paring for the coming event.' It is doubtful, however, whether all who have applied for space will be accommodated, but the public can rely upon the selection bein« in the best interests of the community. The Government exhibit will 'he in the main hnll as heretofore ibut will occupy the whole of- the commodious room immediately at the back thereof, where it, is'-proposed to make a display yet unequalled in TTawera.
