SOUTHERN EXPEDITION SUGGESTED. By Cable—Press Association—Copyright New York, June 2. Commander Peary suggests that Robert Bartlett should be despatched on a South Pole expedition under American auspices. He has received information that Bartlett has brought a number of the crew lost on the steamer Karluk safely to Wrangell Island. He made a long and trying' journey to obtain relief for them, and proper recognition is to fit out an American expedition and place him in charge. ,
